BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Chile, and Mphil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge. He has more than 14 years of experience in the energy sector. His career has been mainly focused on energy markets, renewable energies promotion, energy storage integration, energy planning, flexibility of power systems, new technologies, descarbonisation and energy transition strategies. His work experience has covered also analysis and development of regulations and public policies, research, consulting and teaching.
Technical and regulatory support on matters related to the electricity market and the incorporation of battery storage projects in the SEN (Sistema Eléctrico Nacional).
Research and consultancy project on validation methodologies for new energy efficiency and heat transfer measures in buildings using intelligent technologies.
Teaching at the Diploma in Renewable Energies, covering electric regulation and policies for promoting renewable energies.
